We believe in a responsible and safe mindset that takes care of our customers, products, and fellow employees.Job DescriptionAs an international Field Service Technician, you are part of a team responsible for Field Service work (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance and repair) worldwide.These primary functions include but are not limited to:Provide high-quality and effective field service delivery to TOMRA Customers at all times.Ensuring the maximum performance of Tomra Sorting Systems and Solutions in the field to ensure Customer satisfaction.Technical support to Customers, solving technical issues and sorter performance, including remote support.Provide detailed, accurate and high-quality Service Reports after every installation or site visit, including the relevant signatures and Customer sign-off to ensure Customer satisfaction.Take care of time keeping, timely reporting of activities, costs, other reporting to ensure accurate and quality information.Training of Customer's Maintenance and Operation personnel on site as well as Service Technicians.Providing telephonic technical support to Customers when required.Work and be part of the technical team (internal) to ensure information exchange and sharing technical knowledge and skills.Advise Customers on best practices, installations, migration, improvement possibilities to enhance and increase sorter and plant performance, quality and efficiency.Build and maintain good Customer relations, while on site.Act positively and customer oriented.Support and interact with other departments, Local and Global.Keep up to date with latest technologies, TOMRA technology, products, solutions and services.Stand-By duty as and when required.Safety and good housekeeping: ensure company car, tools and equipment are well maintained, in safe working condition and clean.QualificationsAbout youYou are flexible, willing to travel abroad and you meet the following requirements:Very good application and technical knowledge.Excellent problem solving, fault-finding and follow-up skills.Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills required - to present complex technical information and issues in a user-friendly manner.Be able to work, communicate, relate to multi-cultural colleagues, customers and teams, local and international.Motivated and passion for engineering.Work independently.Work under pressure and stress.Good report writing skills, English.Computer literacy including knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel.If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
