Our client in the manufacturing sector, has an EE opportunity available for a Field Service Mechanic (Mobile Cranes Mechanic).
Requirements:Matriculation Certificate or N3Valid Driver's licenceFormal SAQA accredited qualification as a diesel mechanic5 years exposure and proven track record working on mobile cranesProven track record in fault finding and repairs on mobile cranesEngine repairsGearbox repairsHydraulic repairs KPAs:Undertake vehicle inspections and checksDiagnose and fault finding as per the job card instructionsIdentify parts to be replaced and/or repairedSubmit parts and consumables requisition to supervisorFix and fit parts and consumables as requiredEnsure that work quality is consistent with prescribedConform with the departments job card procedure i.e.
labour, kilometres, travelling, buy-outs, stores issues or sundries processing Please note that prospective employees will be subject to security vetting.
