FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERWe are looking for a dynamic, young, sales-driven Qualified Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with exceptional interpersonal skills, previous experience in a sales environment, and ideally some background experience with Water Treatment. This role will focus on achieving sales growth through the implementation and operation of company technology.The position will report to the National Field Services Manager and will be tasked with attaining specified market area sales goals, maintaining current business accounts, developing new business, and maintaining good expense control to keep expenses within budget.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY OF ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Decide on treatment programs for customersGenerate quotations, discuss quotations, negotiate, and accept orders from customers through a defined sales processContinuously follow up on all tenders/quotations and enquiries, preparing quotations from inception to final delivery to the clientAssist internal sales staff as necessary within all solution divisionsMonitor and assist in the management of stock levels related to sundry sales equipment and items, and assist in defining minimum stock levels and ordering cyclesMaintain safety standards and sound housekeeping principles, ensuring due care of all equipment/assets under your controlCall on customer facilities and implement practical application of products and services through a thorough understanding of the customer's plant and financial operating costsCarry out plant surveys; compile necessary data to develop positive enquiry informationDesired Experience & QualificationMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCE:BSc/BTech in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringAt least 3 years' experience in a sales environmentValid Driver's LicenseExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage and develop business activity in both sales and customer environmentsSound understanding of fundamental contractual issues, with business and commercial skills
