Field Service Engineer For Transformer Service

Description You as a Field Service Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, Gauteng, South Africa. You will be performing site testing & commissioning of power, distribution, dry type transformers.
Your responsibilities: Performing field service activities including troubleshooting, maintenance, site expertise.Getting the purchasing code of the transformer for a spare part from SAP, Archive and prepare and send these codes to the sales team for the offer.Proving technical support for customers, sales team and partners.Performing site works following service plan according to HITACHI ENERGY's technical, commercial, and health & safety standards.Performing training to the customer at the site and at HITACHI ENERGY facilities.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.Knowledge of MS Office programs.Experience in the transformer service business.Team working, technically oriented, analytical, communicate effectively, customer oriented.Ability to travel frequently.Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.Proficiency in both spoken & written in English language is required.
