Main job function At least 5 years experience in the Sales and Marketing field at a senior management level or experience as a Field Sales Engineer in the electronics components industry. CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB To grow the Groups SALES through identifying and developing business and commercial opportunities relevant to our targeted markets.To achieve / exceed targets / budgets aimed at growing sustainable sales and profits through the development of business partnerships, which provide a total communication solution to the client.To manage the marketing and branding of the company in line with industry trend and target marketDesired Experience and Qualification Experience: 5 years of sales in electronics manufacturing or in industrial electronics with track record and ability to increase sales, provide technical and after sales support.Sound knowledge of various electronics and wire harnessing products within the industryUnderstanding of the markets in which we operate (Automotive, Aerospace Automation, Defence Systems, Communication Systems, Tracking Systems, Domestic and Industrial Security Systems) Computer ability:Computer literate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Syspro advantageousHigh-level computer skills to enhance support work and interaction with the customers and Factory Qualifications:Bachelors degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications or Light Current Electronics. Duties Responsibilities: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales process from initial contact with new clients through to closure ending in preferably a long-term contractual relationship. You will also be required to account manage to further maximise the business from the customer. Marketing and Branding of the company which involves the management of any advertising campaigns, company website, editorials, magazines and social media platforms. Maintain Effective CommunicationEffective communication with production, internal sales support, estimating and branch manager.Advise management about market conditions, product performance and competition affecting targeted industries.Provide manager with daily, weekly and monthly sales reportTrack and report on key sales indicators quote conversion ratio and invoicing against budget Resolving production and product issues with customers. Develop Knowledge and SkillsStudy the operations and performance of accounts and analyse competitive activity.Maintain industry and account database. Develop and implement strategies that will optimise the experience and reflect the company values and mission.Manage marketing analytics and utilize results to produce impactful campaign and optimize advertising spend.Excellent product knowledgeTechnical skills:Sound knowledge of the different types of products, services, technologies and printing processes within the electronics industry.Knowledge of plant capability and machine specificationsAble to take customer through quotes in detail Essential SkillsAbility to build and execute marketing strategies that align with the company branding and financial projections.Strong marketing experience is requiredAn innate curiosity about all things tech.Superior analytics skills to determine organisational needs and the ability to develop effective strategic marketing plans.Lead generation optimisation experience is required.Ability to translate insights into action and strategies that will achieve profit and sales objectives.Ensure sales margins are kept to a maximum.Ability to work quickly, make decisions, and act in an environment that at times, may have limited resources.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
