Field Quality Auditor

The Field Quality Auditor will be based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities Quality control monitoring of goods manufactured at CMTs and service providers including but not limited to: Cutting, printing, embroidery, pleating and finishing services. Liaising with the Design Division Garment Technologists on quality issues Liaising with the Design Division technical teams, operations managers and planners. AQL reports and S4 reports Reporting and monitoring of all quality issues arising at the factory. Implementation and measurement of action plans. Mentoring and training for improvement. Daily reports to Head Office Able to manage priority workloads, appointments and schedules Qualifications and Experience Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment Minimum experience 3-5 years in a similar role or level of responsibility. Experience in a Field Quality Auditor role at senior auditor/supervisory level. Experienced in conducting AQL (Level 2.5 major, 4 Minor) inspections and compiling AQL and S4 reports. Code 8 Drivers licence Basic computer literacy and excel skills is advantageous. Competencies Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills Effectively communicates all quality problems by appropriate reporting and photographic means Able to deal with conflict situations when they arise High attention to detail High energy and drive AQL knowledge IT competence - Basic Microsoft office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word Service orientated & results driven Ability to work independently Ability provide feedback
