Job title: Field Performance ManagerRef: 37140Division: Asset Operations & Capital DeliveryLocation: Beckton - IG11 0ADContract type: PermanentFull/Part-time: Full-timeHours: 38 hours per weekSalary: Offering up to £54,600 per annum depending on skills and experience + additional payment for participating in an out of hours rotaJob grade: BClosing date: 17/12/2024We are looking for a Field Performance Manager to join Thames Water on a permanent basis.You will be responsible for guiding and developing a team of skilled Mechanical, Electrical, and ICA technicians to safely achieve specific operational outputs to the required standards, within budget and deadlines.What you'll be doing as a Field Performance ManagerControl and audit site activity, ensuring the safety of the team, contractors and other third parties through the consistent application of company Health & Safety.Respond to any operational events within the geographical area and deliver excellent customer service.Provide leadership and management to our frontline workforce.Support the development of Technicians and maintain a good awareness of the operational needs of Water Treatment Works.Manage teams with a wide range of operational and mechanical expertise.Drive the performance of teams, ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.Develop strong working relationships with other Thames Water business units, key framework contractors, and other external stakeholders.What should you bring to the role?Relevant experience working within Water or Wastewater treatment, or a comparable industry.Qualification in Mechanical and Electrical or ICA.Previous experience in leading a high-performing operational team with excellent people and performance management skills.Good business/stakeholder awareness, along with an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with field-based colleagues and key stakeholders.Strong IT literacy skills as all work is managed through a SAP system; user training for this and other standard software systems will be provided.Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation is essential.Due to the nature of the role, a full valid UK driving licence is required.What's in it for you?Salary up to £54,600 per annum depending on skills and experience + additional payment for participating in an out of hours rota.26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays).GymPass, a free fitness plan and access to several wellbeing apps for you and up to three family members.Cycle to work scheme, up to £3k.WeCare, a variety of health and wellbeing services for you and your family.Generous Paternity Leave, including 4 weeks paid and an optional 2 weeks unpaid.Enhanced Maternity Leave, 26 weeks full pay and 13 weeks half pay.Ongoing performance development reviews to help you identify growth opportunities.Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.Personal Medical Assessments – Open to all once a year.Who are we?We're the UK's largest water and wastewater company, with more than 16 million customers relying on us every day.
