Field Officer Internship - 12 Months

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a relevant tertiary qualification, such as a B.Agric, B.Sc Agric or Btech degreeMust be fully computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)Good communication skills (verbal and written) will be requiredMust be in possession of a valid drivers license and have own reliable transportMust be able and willing to travel to farms and various sitesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Receiving product training on herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, adjuvants, nutrition, and biologicals.Executing research Farm duties including, but not limited to product application, measuring and reporting.Assisting with product development through field trials and adhering to regulatory requirements.Understanding product formulation in the Research & Development Laboratory.Executing quality control duties within the QC Laboratory.Understanding the production of products.Gaining exposure to emerging farmer initiatives.Gaining exposure to various depots and the associated duties.Performing research and report-writing and assisting with technical support and sales duties as delegated by the responsible Technical Advisor and Regional Sales Manager.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
