Field Merchandiser

Our client is looking for a Field Merchandiser in Kimberley, to help create engaging in-store experiences that drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Matric Qualification (Grade 12) FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) experience is beneficial.
Valid Code 10 driver's license.
Must reside in Kimberley or within a 30km radius.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain visual merchandising standards.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as merchandising and traveling.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics.
Key Responsibilities: Merchandising & Store Support: Ensure allocated store spaces are properly stocked, well-merchandised, and maintained at all times.
Execute merchandising plans and display products according to company standards.
Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, including best sellers, slow sellers, and item codes.
Provide feedback on stock levels, including overstocking and understocking, and report to management as needed.
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with sales representatives to optimize space, product placement, and sales performance across all stores.
Assist with meeting or exceeding monthly goals and performance targets.
Store Visits & Reporting: Visit assigned stores regularly, ensuring accurate product displays.
Capture and submit photographs of displays before and after merchandising activities.
Provide daily call reports and communicate with head office on store performance.
Physical & Administrative Tasks: Perform physical merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining cleanliness in the designated areas.
Submit weekly feedback on ways to improve current merchandising kits and processes.
Inventory & Shelf Management: Optimize shelf space usage by organizing products effectively to minimize backup stock and returns.
Ensure the store follows the recommended product mix for maximum sales.
Vehicle Management (If applicable): If assigned a company vehicle, adhere to all company vehicle policies.
Conduct regular inspections, report mileage to the fleet manager, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Customer Interaction & Feedback: Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, assist with inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Report any customer complaints or issues to the sales manager.
Compliance & Safety: Report all accidents or incidents immediately for insurance purposes.
Follow prescribed uniform requirements and adhere to company policies and procedures.
