Purpose of Position: As the key marketing representative for the EMEA region, this dynamic role is ideal for a candidate with experience across the main marketing functions (strategy, field, events, product, content), marketing channels (social, events, etc) as well as project management.
This person defines and implements the EMEA go-to-market strategy across multiple geographies.
Key responsibilities include: EMEA strategic field marketing planning and implementation: This person is responsible for understanding overall business goals, driving strategy and strategic planning based on these goals, and working collaboratively with broader teams to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure marketing programs.
This role includes taking the EMEA marketing program to the next level in terms of locally coordinated, cross-region, strategic and logistical support.
Major Areas of Responsibility: * Field Marketing * Create and implement a comprehensive strategic, regional marketing plan across multiple channels, supporting sales goals * Promote the Hexagon brand and culture to external audiences through events, advertising, industry relations, campaigns, etc.
* Develop a deep understanding of the business and acts as primarily marketing contact for the EMEA sales team; includes regular participation in sales team calls and driving meetings and planning sessions.
* Collaborate with divisional and corporate level marketing colleagues to leverage knowledge and resources for optimal outcomes (daily partnership with mainly US-based colleagues supporting content development, operations, branding and campaigns).
* Work with the business development and account management teams to understand targets and sales opportunities in sales segment, develop marketing programs to drive business and increase engagement.
* Monitor key trends in mining and monitoring and determine creative ways to incorporate them into campaigns and content.
Understand the market, the value propositions, and how to drive notoriety and adoption within the region.
* Manage planning meetings, assign roles and responsibilities, tasks.
Ensure execution is based on budget and in line with approved global marketing initiatives * Relay internal customer needs to senior marketing leadership to ensure regional needs are being addressed at other levels of the organization.

Knowledge and Experience - Required: * The candidate understands the "marketing chain of events" and processes - how content ties into campaigns, events, social media and metrics.

* Events planning and organization is very important from strategy to tactics.
This person will be responsible for all detail related to successful event implementation in all stages (pre, during and after event).
Knowledge and Experience - Desired: * Complete business-level fluency in English.
Fluent Arabic or French are advantages but are not required.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; major in Business or Marketing Communications preferred.
* Strong written, oral communication, and proofreading skills.
* Proven teamwork with sales, product management and outsourced agencies.
* Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Working knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience using marketing automation tools at any level.
Travel: * Travel mainly within Southern Africa.
It may require travel to other locations, including Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
