Field Manager

Our field managers drive sales and deliver profit to Sebenzela and our clients by managing a team brand sales specialists and brand visibility specialists in their geographical area to ensure that our clients' brands are available and visible to township consumers. In this role you can expect to:


Manage visit/call cycles of the team to ensure that all visit/call targets for the geographical area are metLead the sales team to ensure that brand sales specialists and brand visibility specialistsAchieve visit/call targetsAdhere to Sebenzela company standards, policies and proceduresKeep to deadlines and reporting requirementsManage workforce planning and resources to ensure high quality customer service at all timesCoach, mentor, motivate and manage team members in the field in order to increase salesFocus team members to achieve targets and maintain operational standardsAchieve brand target requirements by measuring ongoing performanceSet and monitor and manage clear performance objectives for all team membersPrepare and implement personal development plans to develop and maintain a highly motivated teamAccompany individual team members in the field on a one-on-one basis at least once a week to ensure efficient sales executionCompile and submit sales reportsRequirements:
You will have completed grade 12 or above at school and will ideally have completed an appropriate tertiary qualification (a diploma or short course in marketing or business management). You will be a natural "people person" with a hands on leadership style and the ability to coach, train and develop others. You will possess a previous track record in managing an efficient sales team who achieve results. In addition, you will have a strong knowledge of brands and brand strategies with experience of building brands and sales in the informal township market. If this sounds like you, apply now.
