Field Guide / Spa Management Positions
5 * Lodge: We require an assistant management couple or individuals (Field Guide / Spa Manager) for a luxury private game lodge near Potchefstroom/ Parys in North West. We prefer couples but would consider individual application. We only cater for 5 couples at any time in the Mountain Lodge and have a 12 person Luxury Tented Camp
Field Guide: You will be responsible for leading guests on safari and assisting with other general duties
Qualifications / Responsibilities / Requirements
? >2 years guiding experience
? FGASA / Lead Trails Guide
? PH License will be an advantage
? Valid driver's license
? PDP
? First Aid certification
? Advanced Rifle Handling & proficiency (ARH).
? SAPS Competency certificate
? Provide the best guided experience for guests
? Hosting of guests during adventures
? Excellent verbal communication
? Passion for nature and conservation
? Assist maintenance team
? Assist in hosting guests at functions and weddings
? Able to work under pressure
? Assist hunting clients when required
Assist with Reserve and General Maintenance
SPA Manager: You will be responsible for the Management of the Spa and Spa treatments. Must have experience in spa management, staff management and hosting.
Qualifications / Responsibilities / Requirements
? Previous experience in an upscale spa is a must
? Have formal training from an accredited institution
? International Qualification ITEC/SAAHSP/CIDESCO/CIBTEC will be an advantage
? Very strong skills in massages, nails, waxing and facials
? Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of yoga therapy will be an advantage
? Therapist assessments
? Evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability efforts undertaken by the spa
? Set goals and objectives for the upcoming quarter or a year
? Strong organizational and time-management skills
? Ability to manage appointments and schedules efficiently
? Must be able to order and invoice
? Ability to work well as part of a team and support junior staff
? Communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
? Well organised and likes to work in a clean environment
? Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and new treatments
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices in a spa environment
Additional Skills that would be an advantage
? Assist in the daily running of the Lodge operations.
? Front of House.
? Kitchen & Bar Oversight, stock takes & ordering.
? Maintaining excellent service standard
? Duty/shift management.
