Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fiduciary Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive fiduciary services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and select institutions.
This includes estate planning, trust administration, will drafting, and acting as executor for client estates.
The Fiduciary Specialist will work closely with clients to deliver bespoke, independent advice and ensure all fiduciary responsibilities are met in compliance with legal and tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on the establishment and structuring of new trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and administrative requirements.Manage the ongoing administration of trusts, working closely with fiduciary administrators to ensure proper governance and compliance.Develop and draft personalized wills and estate plans for clients, offering strategic advice tailored to their specific needs.Act as the executor of estates, coordinating the estate administration process and liaising with the relevant teams for smooth execution.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing fiduciary advisory services.Stay informed on the latest legislative and regulatory developments in trust and estate planning to ensure best practices are followed.Key Requirements:Essential: LLB degree or other relevant academic qualification.Advantageous: A tax qualification and/or FPSA designation (or the ability to obtain it).Minimum 5 years experience in the fiduciary industry, with a proven track record in estate planning and trust management.Familiarity with company administration is a plus.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in an understandable way.A client-centric approach with a strong service orientation and proactive attitude.Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.Personal Attributes:Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Adaptability to changing environments and client needs.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
