The successful candidate must haveexcellent negotiation, organisational and communication skills as well as pleasant personality.The candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Director and is based at the Firgrovefacilities.ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute a strategic sales planCreate the annual sales budget and targets for all regions including internationalMonitor actual sales against sales budget from all sales executives and report tomanagement monthlyPresent strategic planning to improve client resultsAchieve the overall margin targets set by managementEnsuring high level of customer satisfaction of the Euroberry experience Monitoring market trends and providing regular feedback including competitorbehaviour and trendsProvide product/customer forecasts to the planning departmentWork closely with purchasing, logistics and planning to ensure contract positions,availability, and pricing is optimumSet and maintain standard pricing based on product cost priceManage and support the sales team with customer specific pricingSet annual KPI s for sales team and track on quarterly basisManage and grow own customer base in Western and Eastern CapeExpand sales area into Southern Africa, by identifying potential customers andintroduce the Euroberry portfolio to generate salesHire, train, motivate, and advise the sales teamEnsure contracts, price lists and customer information is up to date in SageAdhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable lawsRequirementsAt least 4 years of proven experience as Key Account manager and/or salesmanager in the food industryHighly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solverStrong Analytical SkillsStrategic Planning AbilitiesStrong Communication SkillsDelegation SkillsAbility to Remain Calm Under PressureExcellent People SkillsSelf-motivated and self-directedWilling to travel within different region
