Key Responsibilities:Data Entry and Management:Accurately input data from various sources, including operational logs and reports, into company databases.Update and maintain data records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Reporting and Documentation:Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, safety, and other key metrics.Compile statistical summaries and insights to support operational decision-making.Quality Assurance:Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.Identify and resolve discrepancies in data entries.System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Collaborate with IT or technical teams to ensure data systems are functional and up-to-date.Assist in implementing updates to data capture tools or systems.Team Coordination:Work closely with mining engineers, supervisors, and other personnel to collect necessary data.Provide data insights or clarifications to support team initiatives.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure data capture activities comply with industry standards and mining regulations.Support audits by preparing and providing required data.Qualifications and Skills:Education:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in data management, IT, or a related field are advantageous.Experience:Proven experience in data entry or a similar role; experience in the mining industry is a plus.Skills:Proficient in data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP, GIS tools).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Basic understanding of mining operations and terminology (preferred).Key Competencies:Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.Adaptability to learn new systems and tools quickly.Working Conditions:Office-based with occasional visits to mining sites as required.May involve working extended hours to meet operational deadlines.Salary:R8 000.00 - R12 000.00 monthlyHow to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter by following the link.
