IntroductionMain Purpose: To deliver exceptional customer service and maximize selling opportunities through effective people and process management.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure departmental sales in line with budgetsDrive stock availability and ensure Clothing and Home stock inventory processes are implemented in allocated areaEnsure shopkeeping disciplines are continuously in place in allocated department. This includes: ticketing; adjacencies; rack alignment; hangers; hygiene and cleanliness; replenishment; sample trolley; merchandising principles; stockroom disciplines; product quality; proportionality; availabilityEnsure the delivery of a consistent customer shopping experience in line with the agreed service levelsMaximise promotional and special events salesConduct weekly risk documentationEnsure timeous replenishment of stockImplement and monitor all departmental activitiesPeople management – staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relationsMinimize and Manage shrinkageEnsure that all safety and security rules and regulations are adhered toDeal with customer complaints and queriesQualifications and Technical knowledge and skills: Matric or equivalent NQF levelRelevant tertiary qualification advantageousBetween 1-3 years of relevant managerial experienceTechnological proficiencyUnderstanding of stock managementInnate awareness and knowledge of Fashion, Beauty and home retail trendsPlease note, that if you have not received a written response from us within 6 weeks of the closing date your application was unsuccessful.
