Wartburg Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Mechanic to join the team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificatesAgricultural background / experience preferredExtensive repair and maintenance knowledge of farm equipmentMust have a high level of energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mileStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a teamMust be fluent in EnglishAbility to speak Zulu advantageousValid drivers licenseRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Maintenance and repairs on all machinery (bigger repair jobs will be sent to engineering companies)Maintenance of poultry houses and equipmentPossibly:Assist with labour and possibly set up of tasks for labourersCalibrating Agric machinesAssist with cane operation,Assist with chicken i.e.
vaccinations, house checks etcAssist with cattle i.e.
