Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience requiredJob Type: Full TimePosition DescriptionA well-established law firm in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied family law caseload in a dynamic and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload involving divorce, financial remedy disputes, civil partnership disputes, and issues related to the rights of unmarried and cohabitating couples.Undertake advocacy in family law cases, representing clients in court where necessary.Provide high-quality legal advice to clients, ensuring that their needs and interests are protected throughout the legal process.Participate in the firm's Legal Surgery sessions, which offer free advice to clients through drop-in sessions, as well as external advice sessions with local organisations.Work closely with the Family Law Team to manage new enquiries and support ongoing matters.Ensure compliance with relevant statutory legislation and case law, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law changes.Requirements:A qualified Family Law Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE.Experience in managing a varied family law caseload, including financial remedy disputes.Strong advocacy skills and experience representing clients in court.Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining excellent client care.A proactive approach to contributing to the firm's advice sessions and community outreach programmes.Benefits:Competitive salary and bonus scheme.Some limited hybrid working options.Opportunities for career progression within a supportive and growing team.A range of additional benefits.If you are a Family Lawyer looking for an exciting new challenge with excellent career development prospects, apply today!
