Factory Manager

Our client based in the Piet Retief area is seeking a Factory Manager to join their team. As the Factory Manager, you will manage all the major functions of the factory in order to produce wattle-extract products effectively, efficiently and safely whilst ensuring the productivity and well-being of all employees.Minimum requirements:BSc degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) National Diploma in Engineering/Diploma in Business Administration/Diploma Project ManagementAt least 8 years practical experience in an industrial process plant, including knowledge of boiler operationsAt least 8 years' experience in leading a management teamAt least 8 years' experience in safety management and quality control systemsAbility to communicate in isiZuluKey Performance Areas:Planning, organizing, formulating, directing and controlling the production activitiesManage factory budgets, fixed and variable costs, capex, maintenance and abnormal maintenanceReview overall factory performance, and implement and maintain operational strategiesEnsure that maintenance is efficiently carried out and new projects are undertaken for uninterrupted, safe and optimal production, and the safety of employeesEnsure the optimal application of all company and Human Resources policies and proceduresEnsure effective performance of subordinates and teamsEnsure that production and safety standards are in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety ActComply with the requirements of ISO and Quality Management SystemsIf you meet all of the above, please apply directly here.
