Factory Manager

To manage the regions production activities and using the available resources i.e.
manpower, machinery and materials etc to meet customer requirements.
Education: Grade 12/ or equivalent qualification
Qualifications: Production/Operation management diploma and/or appropriate Technikon qualification
Experience: 7-10 years production experience and preferably within a foam environment/an working within/or with the motor industry
Duties : Planning, organising, leading and controlling the operations/production activities
Ensuring optimal utilization of resources to achieve output
Involved with Branch costing of Products/Processes
Engaging in continuous improvement activities to optimises production
Responsible for meeting the production output and quality requirement
Understanding of various industries QMS requirements
Other: Leadership essential.
Industrial Relations i.e.
familiar with the LRA, Industry main agreement, OHSA and inventory control essential.
