Factory Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the mineral processing plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.Manage and lead a diverse team of production staff, including shift supervisors, engineers, and technicians.Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal use of equipment and resources.Monitor plant performance and production metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Ensure that maintenance and repair activities are carried out promptly to minimize downtime and equipment failures.Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with regulations.Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure raw materials and finished products are managed efficiently.Manage the factory budget, control operational costs, and work towards achieving financial targets.Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align factory operations with company objectives.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in plant or factory management within the mining or mineral processing industry.Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in overseeing large teams and complex operations.In-depth knowledge of mineral processing techniques, machinery, and production processes.Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement initiatives.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on safety and quality control.Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and improving operational efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining or mineral processing sectors.Apply now!
