Factory Manager

The Factory Manager will manage various production activities and resources (manpower, machines, materials) of the factory through subordinates in order to achieve planned production targets, and in so doing ensuring that manufacturing meets the demand from sale.

Requirements: National Diploma (Industrial Engineering and/or Plastics Technology)6 years related experience with full factory managementExcellent MS Office skills and manufacturing systems experienceExperience in terms of Injection Moulding and Extrusion would enhance your applicationMust be willing to work shift hours during peak times Key Performance Indicators: Ensure that production meets the demand from saleDrive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement effortsCoordinate and manage all manufacturing operations including safety, stock management, quality, process control, capital projects, production and mould maintenance (extrusion, injection moulding, assembly etc.)Compliance with internal company policies, procedures, processes, and external regulationAbility to supervise a high impact team and collaborate with different stakeholdersBuilding trusting relations and inspire relations amongst the internal and external stakeholdersExecute continuous improvement initiatives ensuring operational excellence
