Location: Cape Town
Salary: R13,000 CTC Per Month
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 15:45 pm)
Contract Duration: 3-Month Contract: November 2024 - End January 2025 (with potential for a permanent role after contract, not guaranteed)

About the Client: A leading supplier and distributor of composite materials and related technologies, primarily serving the yacht construction and aerospace industries in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:

Quick morning cleaning of front offices, meeting room, lab, supervisors' office, and canteen area;
Assist in keeping production areas clean, with all team members responsible for their stations.

Factory Work:

Support factory functions under supervision, including moving and wrapping foam sheets with pallet wrapping film and cardboard;
Assist with materials handling, ensuring correct job sheets remain with each parcel until final labeling;
Operate a pallet jack to move foam sheets between stations;
Help load foam sheets onto drilling frames, offload completed cycles, and visually monitor operations.

Manufacturing Assistance:

After completing initial tasks, assist with drilling machine operations under guidance;
Potential training in scrim application and MC3 line operation, including the use of the table saw and grooving machines.

Requirements (advantageous):

Forklift operator's license or experience;
Experience with automated machinery and technical maintenance skills;
Goods receiving and dispatch experience;
Delivery vehicle license.
