Factory Engineer

Our client based in the Hermannsburg area is seeking a Factory Engineer to join their team.
As the Factory Engineer, you will ensure that maintenance is carried out efficiently, manage projects, ensure high levels of plant efficiency, maximum production, minimal down time, and to ensure the health and safety of employees.
You will ensure that the plant meets with environmental and energy requirements.Minimum requirements:BSc degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)GCC (Government Certificate of Competency) – FactoriesAt least 6 years practical experience in an industrial process plant, including knowledge of boiler operationsIncluding at least 5 years' experience in leading a maintenance team of qualified personalAt least 5 years' experience in managing a computerised maintenance systemAt least 5 years' experience in safety management and quality control systemsComputer literate in MS OfficeKey Performance Areas:Manage factory engineering projectsManage the factory maintenance and construction programManage the company assets of the factory siteManage the factory safety programEnsure that production and safety standards are in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety ActEnsure effective performance of subordinates and teamsComply with the requirements of ISO and Quality Management SystemsIf you meet all of the above, please apply directly here.
