Factory Accountant

A leading paper and plastics packaging manufacturing is looking for a Factory Accountant to join their team based at their plant in Germiston, Gauteng.ResponsibilitiesReviews all costs impacting the income statement, compares and analyses costs to budgets and forecastsPrepares monthly reporting packs in line with month-end deadlinesPrepares and reconciles monthly VAT returns and submits on SARS eFilingReview pricing from procurement, challenge and validate by comparisons and sense checksFully manage and lead the cost and control environment regarding materials managementPrepares Balance sheet recons and ensures these are reviewed and signed off monthlyEnsures the control and compliance environment is well managed for all areas under direct controlRequirementsBCom Finance or similar NQF 73 - 5 years' minimum experience in a financial accountant position within a manufacturing environmentAbility to interact with people of varying levels in the organisationDedicated specialistAdvanced analytical experience and interestDetail orientationLearning agilityBenefitsSalary: R650K/yr - R693K/yr, negotiableOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experiencePaid Time OffIf you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to ****** note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
