About the Role: Transport Efficiency Analyst We are seeking a Transport Efficiency Analyst to help identify discrepancies and inefficiencies in the transport service provider's performance.
The ideal candidate will analyze large datasets, identify patterns or trends, and provide actionable insights through detailed reports.
This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills who can work independently to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Insights: Analyse large volumes of transport-related data using advanced Excel and spreadsheet tools.
Identify inconsistencies, trends, and patterns in the data that may indicate discrepancies in service delivery.
Report Writing and Presentation: Prepare and present weekly analytical reports with actionable recommendations to management.
Create visualizations (charts, graphs, tables) to communicate findings effectively.
Problem Identification and Resolution: Use logical thinking to understand data discrepancies and propose resolutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Calculations and Metrics: Perform complex calculations to assess the transport provider's performance.
Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service quality and adherence to contracts.
Autonomous Work: • Work independently to manage and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Skills & Qualifications: Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
Familiarity with other spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze data, spot anomalies, and identify root causes of discrepancies.
Capability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights.
Numerical Aptitude: Excellent math skills for accurate data calculations and metrics analysis Attention to detail in handling and interpreting numerical data.
Logical Problem-Solving: Ability to apply logical reasoning to identify and address transport performance gaps.
Proactive approach to resolving identified issues.
Communication and Reporting: Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear and concise reports.
Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations to management.
Autonomy and Initiative: Proven ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively.
