We help companies put trust - an abstract idea - to work. That's digital trust for the real world. Job summary As Facilities Technician you will ensure an optimal working environment in the building. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular building equipment inspections, assist the Facility Manager with maintaining the building equipment, and coordinate the cleaning needs of the building. What you will do Performs assigned facility inspections - HVAC, Generator, and UPS systems and submit reports of conditions in the building and recommend actions to be taken. Maintains and operates all HVAC systems. Blowers, Roof Top Units, Heat Pump Units, and the associated equipment. Perform general facility maintenance – Lights, basic plumbing, furniture, and manual repairs as needed. Work with vendors to support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) service level agreements (SLA's). HVAC, Fire Alarm Systems, Standby Generator, and the Battery Backup System (UPS). Liaising with the cleaning service team, the trash removal service vendors and suppliers on behalf of the Facility Manager. Respond to building emergencies - serving as one of the contacts for all facility related emergencies (Including but not limited to fire alarms, HVAC system alarms, security alarms, etc). Includes monitoring and responding to building security/fire system alarms which may require work even during off work hours, weekends and holidays. Review and understand equipment and methods of operations, Building Automation System (BAS), safety and security, and other systems. Maintain the plans for fire evacuation, disaster response, up-to-date records for all semi-annual and annual inspections, warranties, maintenance requirements and the implementation of scheduled servicing for key assets. Assist the facility manager with securing proposals for maintenance work. What you will have Background in facility operations. Understanding of building and equipment maintenance. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in facility coordination, project management, or facility administration. Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies such as breakdowns or outages. Must be proficient in Office 365 that will be used for reports and office communications.
