Facilities Manager

Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure the seamless functioning of hotel facilities and infrastructureDevelop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs aligned with warranties, safety regulations, and best practicesCollaborate closely with Hotel Managers, Group Operational Manager, and Department Heads to address maintenance requests promptly and effectivelyPlan and manage maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles, and systems across the groupTrain, mentor, and develop staff to build a skilled and efficient maintenance teamFoster a culture of safety, ensuring secure usage of all equipmentMaintain adequate stock levels of critical supplies and equipmentSource competitive quotes, establish relationships with approved service providers, and oversee procurementPrepare and manage annual maintenance budgets, including CAPEX items and labor costsMaintain detailed documentation of inspections, stock control, purchases, and maintenance activitiesEnsure compliance with all operational and safety standards Skills & Experience:A minimum of 5 years experience in facilities or maintenance managementProven expertise in preventative maintenance planning and executionStrong skills in planning, process management, and service deliveryProficiency in CAPEX and operational budgetingCompetency in MS Office applicationsPrevious experience in hotel or property maintenance is advantageous Qualification:Grade 12- Matric CertificateTertiary qualification in Facilities/Maintenance/Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
