About the Role As a Facilities Management Coordinator, you will support the efficient operation of facilities. You will do so by coordinating maintenance, managing supplies, and ensuring a safely functional environment. Your role involves assisting with procurement and maintaining accurate records to contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization.
Responsibilities • Coordinating maintenance and repairs for facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations and safety.
• Assessing and evaluating the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
• Managing occupational health and safety regulations and ensures compliance.
• Ensuring proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
• Managing administrative tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of communication with all stakeholders
• Overseeing fire safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
Requirements • Have Matric Certificate (National Senior Certificate)
• Have proven experience serving as a fire marshal or in a similar capacity, responsible for fire safety and emergency protocols.
• Have experience in managing occupational health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Have prior experience working with contractors and landlords.
• Have demonstrated ability to manage and respond effectively to crises.
• Have experience in sourcing and evaluating quotations from various vendors.
