Position Title: Fabrication Workshop ManagerIndustry: EngineeringLocation: BenoniSalary: Market Related Requirements:5+ Years experience as a Workshop Manager in FabricationTrade Tested in Fitter & Turner/Fitter/Millwright/ MachinistProficiency in using CNC Machines, Fabrication ProcessesDuties & ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.Supervise and mentor workshop staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards.Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained and in optimal working condition.Monitor and manage workshop inventory, including spare parts and consumables.Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards (ISO 9001).Coordinate with other departments to align workshop activities with business objectives.Identify and address technical issues, troubleshooting as needed.Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all workshop operations.Closing Statement:Correspondence will be with shortlisted candidates only.
