F&B Manager - Luxury Hotel - Witbank

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager for a prominent hotel in Witbank, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a good first impression, exceeding customer expectations through efficient delivery and friendly service with a positive attitude.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
: Matric. A Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma qualification will be an advantage.
Experience
: At least 5 years' experience within the hospitality industry in a 4-star property.
Management Experience
: Minimum of 18 months of management or supervisory experience.
Standards Oriented
: Must be standards-oriented.
Food and Beverage Knowledge
: Good knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
Customer Service
: High level of customer service.
Skills
:
High level of numeracy skills.
Disciplined, organized, with attention to detail.
Deadline driven and cost control skills essential.
Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in Isizulu and/or IsiXhosa will be an advantage.
High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Budget Management
: Accountable for achieving budgeted revenue numbers for the F&B outlet(s).
Revenue Control
: Fully responsible for the F&B department's financial performance and long-term sustainability.
Guest Satisfaction
: Contribute to ensuring that guest satisfaction is established and maintained by the employees of the Food & Beverage outlet(s).
Staff Management
: Contribute to maintaining appropriate staffing levels across the F&B outlet(s).
System Knowledge
: Excellent knowledge of Opera and Micros with specific reference to Point of Sales systems.
