External Technical Sales RepresentativeMCM Management Solutions is seeking an External Technical Sales Representative for a High-Quality Equipment Supplier for Engineering, Welding, and Mining Companies in South Africa.Location: Cape TownType: Permanent, Full TimePublished: 1 week agoSalary: R 25,000.00 + R500 Phone + Company BakkieEE/AA: Non EE/AAMAIN PURPOSEIdentify new sales prospects and manage existing clients to identify business opportunities.Assist in the growth of company market share.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks:Sell products by establishing contact.Maintain and develop relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance.Recommend solutions.Visit and quote customers.Follow up on quotations.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards.Invoice customers and order stock to complete customer back orders.Deliver products when needed.Follow up on customer back orders.Complete customer planning and visits on Repsly.Make cold calls to expand customer base.Arrange and conduct demos on welding machines.Complete company vehicle checklist each Friday and hand it to the Workshop Foreman.Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy at all times.Attend to all job-related administration.Attend to any and all ad-hoc duties required by management.Abide by company Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.Reach monthly targets and GPs as discussed by management and according to contract on a monthly basis.Knowledge of the following products is mandatory:Welding machinesWelding consumablesGas and gas cutting equipmentPower toolsGeneratorsSpares and hand toolsPlasma systemsCompressorsDesired Experience & QualificationRelevant Tertiary Qualification: Will be advantageousExperience: Minimum 5 years relevant experienceOther:Experience working with customers and maintaining customer relations.Experience in the welding industry.Ability to adapt to different environments.Ability to plan routes for the week and visit customers accordingly.Time management skills.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Welding machinesWelding consumablesGas and gas cutting equipmentPower toolsGeneratorsSpares and hand toolsPlasma systemsCompressorsPackage & RemunerationR 25,000.00 + R500 Cellphone Allowance + Company Bakkie.Interested?Only qualifying candidates should submit the following documents to apply:Your detailed CV in Word format (indicating your ID number, knowledge of the listed products, key responsibilities for the positions you held, reasons for leaving previous roles, and current salary (Cost to Company)).Proof of all supporting documents including all qualifications and driver's license.
