EDUCATION NEEDED: Matric, a certificate in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years Sales experience within the hardware/FMCG sector as a Sales Representative SALARY: Market Related and commission REPORTING TO: Regional Sales Manager PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS: Ability to analyse sales data statistics and translate results in solutions Eager to expand the Company brand with new sales, clients, and territories Proven results of meeting sales goals Ability to multitask Must be a methodical thinker Valid drivers license is essential Willingness to travel for business purposes Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans Customer focused with attention to detail focusing on sales goals Goal orientated, organized with excellent negotiation skills Have excellent interpersonal and networking skills Work well under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment and commit to strict deadlines Be well groomed and presentable Self-motivated Be a Team Player Knowledge of Skynamo CRM system (advantageous) Must be willing to travel to Botswana monthly MAIN KPIS FOR THIS ROLE Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and drives as directed by management Visit top 20 customers twice a month and create a customer strategy for the quarter Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities to customers. Assess viability of Client base for the Region Ensure that entire customer base is visited once a month Identify new retail hardware stores and engage Ensure that stores are merchandised as per Company standards Conduct 2 demo days per month in store Ensure that all customers have standard service level agreements in place Manage and ensure execution of in-store installations as per Company standards Ensure that stands are maintained by the Merchandiser Submit weekly call planner to the Regional Manager Generating monthly sales reports Complete customer contracts Complete proposals and quotations for customers Assist with completion of Credit Applications and submit to Head Office Establish and maintain sound and professional relationships with clients Building and maintain of relationships with retail hardware outlets in the region. Support, Mentor and Coach the Merchandiser on an ongoing basis
