External Sales Representative – East London

Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of an External Sales Representative for their East London branch. This incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
The main function of this position is to actively seek out and engage both existing and new customer prospects, providing solutions for customers in order to boost revenue growth.
The key tasks & responsibilities for this position are to: Maintain sales and support to existing clients in the area allocated.Compile an accurate and comprehensive database on customers and their relationships/influences.Generate growth of allocated and new customer base.Prepare and conduct presentations to customers.Conduct exhibitions and customer-specific training if required.Prepare and report on sales for your allocated area.Attend key project or customer meetings.Report on competitor activities in the area.Compile monthly sales reviews and forecasts against agreed targets.Perform other duties as directed by management.Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs.Promote customer understanding of the full product offering and align to provide a solution.Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.Consult with Specifiers, Influencers, and Engineering Consultants in the area.The key educational requirements and experience for this position are: A valid Grade 12 certificate is a MUST.A tertiary technical qualification preferably in the Electrical Field would be an ADVANTAGE.A minimum of 3-4 years of Electrical Sales experience.Knowledge of the electrical industry.A valid driver's licence is a MUST.Computer literate – preference will be given to users with strong K8 knowledge.Job FeaturesJob Category: Sales
