THE OPPORTUNITY IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg campus is seeking appointees in the field of Business-to-Business Marketing to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies. JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Lecturing/FacilitationMarkingStudent supportCompetencies Required: Communication skillsOrganisational skillsTime managementMinimum Education Requirements per module: Ideal: Honours in Business Management; Strategic Management; or Entrepreneurship.Alternatively: Honours in one of the Business Management related fields (e.g. entrepreneurship, contemporary, general; strategic) with management to the third year of the undergraduate qualification; orA bachelor's degree in Business Management or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, contemporary, general; strategic) to the third-year level plus either an MBA/MBL or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in general, contemporary, and/or strategic management/ entrepreneurship/ risk management/ supply chain and/or logistics management/ project management.Work experience as a general or strategic manager/ risk management/ entrepreneurship/ supply chain management/ project management.Involved in the process of analysis and the components and functions of optimisation in the operational process (Theory of Constraint).Completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with business management as a major up to third year and relevant industry experience.Working Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to personally contact all applicants.
