THE OPPORTUNITY IIE Varsity College, Westville campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies.

Job Purpose The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Key Performance Areas Lecturing/FacilitationMarkingStudent support Competencies Required Communications skillsOrganisational skillsTime management Minimum Education Requirements per module: A minimum of Honours degree in Finance/Banking Alternatively An Honours degree in one of the Business-related fields with Finance/Banking Management up to the third-year degree level.A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum Work Experience Requirements Lecturing experience in investment banking or financial management related disciplines.Work experience: practical experience working in the investment banking industry. This could include positions in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets, corporate finance, or related areas; or Practical experience in executing financial transactions, conducting valuations, and structuring deals is highly valuable.A deep understanding of financial statements, and financial modelling techniques will be required.
