THE OPPORTUNITY IIE Varsity College Westville campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies.

Job Purpose The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Key Performance Areas Lecturing/FacilitationMarkingStudent support Competencies Required Communications skillsOrganisational skillsTime management Minimum Education Requirements Per Module Ideal: A master's degree in one of the Applied Humanities or Commerce fields with Strategic Innovation, Business Innovation, Innovation Management, Sustainable Business Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility, Development Economics, Applied Development Economics, Community Development, Grassroots Innovation, Sociology, Social Development, Social Entrepreneurship, or Social Innovation in undergraduate studies up to third-year degree level.Alternatively A relevant NQF 8 qualification in one of the Applied Humanities or Commerce fields with similar innovation or development economics-related modules in undergraduate studies up to third-year degree level. Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Business Innovation, Social Innovation, or Strategic Innovation.Work experience is essential in innovation management, social innovation, community development, social development, or not-for-profit innovation and management.
