Key Responsibilities As an Export Manager, you will: Develop and implement strategic export plans to meet sales targets and increase market share.
Identify and research new international markets, considering regulatory landscapes, trends, and competition.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key global stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, regulatory) to ensure timely product delivery and adherence to quality and export standards.
Provide market intelligence and insights to support strategic decisions on international growth.
Design and execute marketing strategies tailored to international markets, collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns.
Monitor sales performance in export markets, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities for growth.
Stay updated on international trade regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements affecting export operations.
Represent the company at global trade shows and networking events to promote products and enhance global presence.
Qualifications & Skills To excel in this role, you should have: A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field (Masters preferred).
At least 5 years of export management experience , ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
A proven track record of growing international sales and market share.
Deep knowledge of international trade regulations , import/export laws, and industry standards.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical ability to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
Leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export management tools or ERP systems.
Valid international drivers license , passport , and travel vaccination card .
Willingness to travel internationally, often for extended periods.
