Export - Fruit Buyer

Job Description: Buyer needs to have experience in procurement and purchasing with FMCG & Fruits. ResponsibilitiesSource and purchase Products, Fruits, and FMCG required for exports to African countriesNegotiate prices and contracts with suppliersWork closely with Logistics managers and other team members to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on timeManage relationships with suppliers and vendorsStay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to ensure best prices are achieved for the customersEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferredProven experience as a Buyer in the fruit/export industry 5 10 yearsStrong negotiation and communication skillsKnowledge of export procedures for Fruit & FMCG productsNeeds to be good in Excel and ERP system (SAP Business One)Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent organizational and time management skills
