Key Responsibilities: Upload customs and related documents into the Global Trade System (GTS). Update freight forwarder and customer payments in GTS.Manage and upload documentation from transporters into GTS. Prepare documents for Letters of Credit (LC) and Bills for Collection (BFC) for bank submission. Maintain LC and BFC tracking sheets for customer accounts. Draft import clearing instructions for clearing agents. Arrange courier services for shipping documentation to customers or banks. Create courier labels for supplier cargo collections. Communicate with banks to resolve queries regarding LC and BFC. Address customer inquiries related to LC and BFC processes. Monitor the delivery status of export consignments. Track the progress of imported cargo shipments. Support the Management Data Analysis (MDA) function in GTS. Process receipts for head office purchase orders.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should posses: Grade 12 Logistics/Supply Chain Management qualification is advantageous 1 to 2 years' experience in export/import or financial administrative role JDE and GTS are advantageous VAT compliance knowledge
