Purpose
To participate in the elaboration of the category strategy of the zone, to coordinate the technical activities for the Savoury category and to provide the best technical support to clients and different internal partners in cluster and zone.
Responsibilities
Manage/coordinate flavour applications and associated technical support of diverse project initiatives across the savoury category.
Supports clients during product development process and presents dsm-firmenich technologies.
Develop savoury application bases and create new savoury concepts to highlight dsm-firmenich flavours, ingredients, technologies, and innovations.
Actively participate on technical selling team to develop strategic relationships and customer intimacy.
Mentor junior professionals.
Project management: Manage briefs and champion required actions to meet project objectives, lead work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed.
Leverage technical knowledge in terms of flavors, ingredients, formulations, and processes relating to savoury products, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community
Maintain knowledge of savoury client's strategies, brands, and products. Stays informed on relevant trends/new ingredients & technologies.
You Bring
Bachelor's degree in food science or food technology from an accredited university required.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in savoury category, mainly in Seasonings, Snacks, Meat, Soups & Sauces Applications / Product Development.
Good & relevant technical skills & industrial knowledge related to savoury products, which includes formulation, food processing, ingredients/raw materials knowledge.
Excellent analytical & creative thinking in solving technical issues.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment open to constant change in demands.
Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team.
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal.
Proven ability to design and execute against complex initiatives.
