Experienced Driver (Code 14)

Key Responsibilities:Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles (Code 14) while adhering to traffic laws and client policies.Transport goods or personnel to various locations, including international destinations as needed.Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues to management.Complete and maintain accurate logbooks and relevant documentation.Coordinate with the clients logistics team to plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.Ensure cargo safety and compliance with all load securing protocols.Follow cross-border regulations, handling required documentation for customs and immigration when traveling internationally.Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, reporting any mechanical issues.Provide professional and courteous service to clients during deliveries.Requirements:Valid Code 14 drivers license with a clean driving record.Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).Valid passport, with the ability to travel internationally.Proven experience in long-distance or cross-border driving.Knowledge of cross-border regulations, including documentation requirements.Familiarity with logbook maintenance and reporting processes.Excellent time management and communication skills.Basic mechanical knowledge for handling minor issues on the road.Ability to assist with cargo handling when necessary.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight trips.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles.Experience in international transportation.Proficiency with GPS and modern navigation systems.
