We are looking for a creative, dynamic, quick-thinking and quick-learning Guest Experience Coordinator (itinerary planner) role based in Cape Town, in a boutique luxury travel company.

We are a small team and, therefore, require the new team member to hit the ground running on creating personalised, creative, and elevated itineraries.Client management, tactful complaint resolution, flexibility around guest needs and preferences, and willingness to " show up" for guests.Be willing to be on call outside of traditional office hours - need to man company phone line at times, communicate with guides and drivers even if guests are travelling on the weekends.Ability to come up with creative itineraries for guests to experience their destinations in a personalised manner - we are mostly Cape Town/Western Cape focused, though the company is growing its product to include other parts of South Africa and hopefully global offerings in the near future.Knowledge of the travel sphere, what is known and what is unique so as to craft special experiences.Pain-staking attention to detail is a MUST.

Coordinate complex logistics with regards to group travel.Basic accounting abilities - calculating costs of itineraries to accurately quote and invoice.Intuitive & pro-active problem-solving.Ability to work independently but also reach out to the manager and the team of help and ideas.
Balanced team-player.3-5+ years work experience in Events, Travel Industry, or Hospitality is critical.
