Job Requirements Grade 12 (Critical) Expeditor (advantage) 3 years stores experience 2 years Automotive manufacturing environment Supplier relationship experience Technical skills and specialist knowledge: Intermediate computer skills (including Office Excel and Outlook) Customer communication and relationships Good communication skills Teamwork Main purpose: The main purpose of this role is to submit call-offs to suppliers and to communicate with suppliers.
Job objectives: Suppliers Communication and maintain good relationships with the suppliers that provide goods and services to the organization.
Coordinate subcontracted Logistics service providers to ensure stock is collected and delivered on time Collections and deliveries Organizing and coordinating collections and deliveries to and from Suppliers Coordinate supplier returns nonconforming stock Always provide up to date information to the Stores Team regarding expected collections and deliveries Call-offs Submit call-offs to all suppliers on a scheduled routine through RIMS and Spendman to ensure Stores required stock levels are maintained.
Submit Emergency call-offs Escalating call-off queries to Purchasing Dunnage control Escalate empty dunnage shortages to ensure Stores decanting and packing requirements are met.
Stocktakes Participate in all scheduled Stores stocktakes
