Exl | Sap Authorization Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP Authorization Consultant to join our Global IT team. The ideal candidate will focus on business systems, primarily SAP ERP and Cloud platforms, with a primary emphasis on role-based authorizations, system security, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance. You will support SoX ITGC audits and collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal controls.
Professional Requirements: Education & Training: Degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent).Solid understanding of business processes within the manufacturing industry.Profound knowledge and experience in IT service operations, continuous improvement, and IT configuration management regarding roles and authorizations, including Segregation of Duties (SoD).Skills: Ability to manage roles and authorizations within a multi-platform global enterprise operation.Solid understanding of SAP ERP systems, especially SAP Basis and authorization modules, and their integration with other SAP on-premise and Cloud solutions, as well as non-SAP solutions.Operational knowledge of ServiceNow, Maestro, and SOx (ITGC) preferred.ITIL and Project Management certification (PRINCE, IAPM, SCRUM, etc.) is beneficial.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP application operation and projects, preferably focusing on role-based authorizations and SOx controls.Proven ability to analyze business process requirements and specify appropriate solutions.Competencies: Excellent understanding of IT Service Operations (ITIL) and continuous improvement principles.Self-motivated, team player with strong customer focus and attention to detail.Business fluent in English (C1/C2 level); proficiency in German or other European languages is beneficial.
