EXECUTIVE MANAGER TREASURY - Gauteng, CenturionCLOSING DATE: 12 AUGUST 2024SALARY: R (Phone Number Removed); CTC PER ANNUMPURPOSE:To provide strategic direction to the Treasury department. To develop and manage strategies, operations, and policies in respect of the bank's treasury function, which involves asset and liability management, liquidity and capital planning, funding operations, investment portfolio management, and third-party fund administration.QUALIFICATIONS:3-year qualification in Accounting, Finance, or EconomicsCFA / CAEXPERIENCE:Senior Management experience in a typical finance environment including cash management: 10 YearsSenior Leadership & Management experience of Treasury Function: 10 YearsSenior management experience in fixed income markets (specifically, debt issuance and Management): 10 YearsExtensive experience in debt capital markets and funding operations: 10 YearsJOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement the Treasury Strategy as aligned to the Corporate PlanProvide funding advice to guide decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives and potential fundingCompile information into a workable document for review and buy-in for the development of a divisional strategy and implementation roadmapInform affected groups/divisions of the strategic intent of the specific working area to adjust or modify associated roadmaps and strategyCompile the final version of the strategy and roadmap in the prescribed organisational formatMake recommendations related to the strategy and roadmap to the relevant role playersImplement the Strategy and RoadmapDevelop processes, policies, and limits related to the Treasury function and financial risk managementDesired Skills:Design and implement the Treasury Strategy as aligned to the Corporate PlanManage the Bank's Assets and LiabilitiesManage the Bank's Capital FundingLiquidity and optimize investment returns on surplus cashDirect Treasury OperationsTreasury policy, controls, and managementDesired Work Experience:More than 10 yearsDesired Qualification Level & Accreditations:MastersChartered Financial AnalystSouth African Institute of Chartered AccountantsAbout The Employer:For application inquiries, please call Shashi or send a WhatsApp message to the cell number in the REF above for the email address shashi@mployglobal.
