Executive: Strategy and Risk Management - Gauteng, PretoriaJOB PURPOSEThe incumbent will provide strategic leadership and expert contribution for the development of Polmed's Corporate Strategic Plan, Business Plan and EXCO Scorecards, by leading the strategic planning, strategy execution tracking, results monitoring and reporting across Polmed. Significantly shape the development of Polmed's strategy and strengthen its sustainability through innovation and technology enablement by advising the EXCO of potential development opportunities. Lead improvements to effectiveness and efficiency of Polmed-wide business operations, define and drive critical partnerships, delivery planning, operational performance and continuous improvement through policies, processes and systems. This role fosters data analytics-led decision making, product design and member excellence through providing direction and oversight for Polmed's research capabilities. This role oversees and embeds a risk management and combined assurance culture across the scheme.KEY PERFORMANCEStrategic Planning and Business PerformanceSupport the PO by orchestrating the strategy formulation and execution process whilst ensuring strong collaborative participation and rapport within the EXCO and Boot;Lead all strategic planning and analytical activity for the organisation, with the goal of aligning performance, and bringing a strong analytical and critical thinking culture;Implement a business Performance Management System to track Polmed's performance;Lead the identification and implementation of value adding business opportunities and member delivery improvements by introducing innovation and transformation into Polmed's business to improve overall performance;Lead a program to improve all operational and financial controls including the documentation of standard operating procedures; and establishing automation requirements to support the control improvements;Oversee organisation wide business improvement initiatives such as business processes, automation and fourth industrial revolution.Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and ReportingLead the deployment, utilisation and optimisation of data analytics capabilities including building databases/models of information that may not be readily available to inform business strategy development, operational excellence and performance monitoring and reporting;Position Polmed as a key role player in the industry by contributing thought leadership to shape healthcare policy by preparing and presenting evidence of healthcare trends using its data analysis.Qualification & ExperienceMinimum Requirement:NQF Level 9 Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration/Management/ Finance10 years experience in senior management in medical schemes or comparable environment8 years at senior management experience
