Leading Destination Management Company is looking for an experienced Reservations Manager to serve as a sales driver and main point for key accounts while leading and motivating the reservations team. This is a hybrid role in Cape Town. Salary is negotiable on experience plus benefits. Experience required:Experience leading a Reservations Team for at least 5 years for an inbound tour company/destination management companyExcellent knowledge of Southern and East AfricaMS Office, Tourplan and Wetu Duties include:Maintain excellent customer/client relationshipsDeliver on and exceed sales targets as per business expectationsMonitor the quoting and operational accuracy of the teamEnsure operational excellence dailyMonitor workload distributionOversee quotation checks and conduct spot checks, as well as create cost and margin awarenessGuide the team to achieve goalsBuild up and maintain a high level of motivation and team spiritBe approachable and supportiveDemonstrate an understanding of the concepts cost, profit, net and gross selling pricesBe aware of our competitors productsTravel occasionally on educational and familiarization trips to Southern Africa, report back and provide training to the teamDemonstrate excellent communication skills and customer careSupport the decision-making process of management by giving input
