Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working model: 
- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week, 
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week, 
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
Job DescriptionThe Role The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) provides services to support the delivery of training, continuing professional development, and health policy and advocacy in Australia and New Zealand. This position is located in the the Training Operations division and is responsible for supporting the Senior Executive Officer in the development, monitoring and implementation of education policies and programs, administrative procedures and secretariat services within the Advanced Training Unit. The position responsibilities are including but not limited to:
Coordinating all administration in relation to allocated training programs including the following:
Create and maintain electronic records, including data entry of trainee applications and assessments Provide information to assist with organising accreditation of training sites Coordinate, attend and facilitate meetings for allocated committees and provide high level secretariat services to committees Prepare agendas and briefs, produce minutes, draft reports and correspondence Carry out other duties as required by the Senior Executive Officer. Effectively working with committees and other College units to undertake the following:
Proactively advocate for allocated committees to adhere to College policy, procedures and strategy Work with committees to ensure that members are adequately trained and succession plans are considered Work with committees to annually review training requirements and update program requirement Facilitate effective communication and consultation between all College units and these committees Contributing to project management and process improvements in a constantly changing environment which include:
Identifying areas and make suggestions for process and program improvement, focusing on activities to streamline and standardise coordination of training programs Contributing towards projects as required, for example education program development, communication campaigns, online resources, business process transformation Desired Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including business writing and presentations Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, managing a range of complex tasks in a changing work environment while maintaining an attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaborate with own and other teams A commitment to professional client service Professional experience preferably implementing education/health programs or in a member-based organisation Proficiency in MS Office Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field Experience working with health service providers Experience working with committees including minute taking and agenda setting Experience working in adult education To apply, please submit your CV and short cover letter, addressing the criteria listed in the job advertisement by 30 June 2024. Please also address the following questions in your cover letter:
