Develops and drives the strategy for efficient service delivery of the Organisation.Participate as a member of the executive management to ensure the fulfillment of the Organisation strategic objectives.Responsible for designing, improving, and implementing the laboratory systems/processes for the organisation to deliver its diagnostic services.Lead a team of Area managers to deliver the strategy and operational strategic plans.Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives, with a focus on laboratory services.Work closely with the AARQA Executive and discipline expert committees, making recommendations for adoption to the Chief Executive Officer for enhancing laboratory services.Direct the development and installation of operational controls and procedures to promote communication and adequate information flow, solidifying management control and direction of laboratory services.Create improvement strategies that will improve and promote efficiency and quality of laboratory services.Develop and implement laboratory operating policies consistent with the Organisation's policies and objectives and ensure their adequate execution.Appraise and evaluate the results of overall laboratory operations regularly and systematically report these results.Oversee the laboratory operations of the organisation and manage its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Lead a people and service-centric laboratory service where delivery is effective and client satisfaction is prioritized.Responsible for measurement and effectiveness of all laboratory processes internal and external and provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on operations.Desired SkillsProblem Solving And Decision MakingFinancial and HR managementStrategic planning and executionDesired Work Experience5 to 10 yearsDesired Qualification LevelHonoursAbout The EmployerMBCHB with additional business qualification at masters levelOR Masters degree in Medical Technology OR Biomedical Science OR MMED and/or FCPath.
